Speaker: Kirstie MacGill is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon working at Royal Children’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Eastern Health. Her interests include Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery and all aspects of reconstructive plastic surgery which is useful when working as a volunteer surgeon with Interplast.
Topic: “Interplast Australia. Repairing bodies and Rebuilding Lives in the Asia-Pacific Region”. The talk will focus on Kirstie’s experiences with Interplast and some thoughts about the role of Surgical Missions providing healthcare in Low and Middle Income Countries.
The talk will be followed by soup and then a short service of reflective worship in the church.
