Lenten Offering 2013

The 2013 Lenten Offering will support the following projects:

• Equipment for a kindergarten in Popua, one of the most marginalised communities in Tonga
• The building of peace and reconciliation in the Sri Lankan community through Multi-Faith dialogue meetings
• A ‘Helping Homeless People Back into the Mainstream’ program, which will assist homeless people in the Barwon region regain support
• A Travelling Opportunity Shop service for people in rural and remote communities across Tasmania.

The Lenten Offering is a significant way for us to put our beliefs into action. All the projects are practical ways of addressing injustice and need. They all can bring new life and hope to individuals and communities who need to know that they are a valued part of the community. Please respond generously if you are able.
