Pastoral Care

Pastoral care in our congregation is provided by church Elders and the Pastoral Assistant. Each Elder looks after their group through regular personal contact and/or the organising of social gatherings.

Our congregation has a dedicated Pastoral Assistant (Ms Luise Westwood, Email: luisewestwood@hotmail.com) for anyone who needs pastoral support or assistance. Referrals can be made to Luise directly or through Elders or members of the congregation.

Funerals or other important pastoral events in the life of the congregation is communicated through a “telephone, SMS and email tree”, to inform the  congregation as quickly as possible.

It is possible to light a candle, ask for prayer, or have a candle lit at Sunday morning worship or throughout the week.

All pastoral care is under the oversight of and is supported by the Minister, Pastoral Assistant, Elders Committee and Church Council.
