‘The Song of Songs’

SAT. 26^th AUG at 7PM – Bons Ventos Baroque will present ‘The Song of Songs’, directed by Tim Willis, with guests soprano Eliza Bennetts O’Connor and baritone Julien Robinson. They will journey through diverse lands and languages, including an Italian Hebrew Psalm, a work by English composer Taverner, and favourites from Handel and Bach, including the Brandenburg Concerto number 3.

Tickets $40, Pensioners $20, under 16 free.

Our local MP, Mr Josh Frydenberg, has agreed to meet and answer questions at the Leo Baeck Centre for Progressive Judaism, 31-37 Harp Road, East Kew.

NEXT MONDAY, the 16^th of May, at 6.30 pm.

This is the delayed ‘Meet the Candidates’ session from the series we ran in conjunction with the Leo Baeck Centre.

The candidates have been invited to come separately; to speak for half-an-hour; and then to take questions for another half-an-hour.

On the third of these forums on Sunday, May 8, our guest speaker is the Labor Candidate, Dr Peter Lynch.

The candidates have been invited to come separately; to speak for half-an-hour; and then to take questions for another half-an-hour.
